10.12.19, Stefan Ameres receives his third ERC grant
Congratulations to Stefan Ameres at IMBA for receiving the prestigious European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator Grant worth 2 million Euros! It’s the third ERC grant for Stefan Ameres after having been awarded the ERC Starting Grant in 2013 and the ERC Proof of Concept Grant in 2018.
The Doctoral Program DK RNA Biology and the brand new special research programme SFB “RNA-DECO” are very proud to have this outstanding and highly-recognized RNA scientist within their faculty.
One of his comments: “This recognition is also a testimonial for the overall impact of our research interest that centers on the versatile functions of RNA molecules that have already puzzled and surprised many generation of scientists. And in future I hope that we can continue to contribute to the established status of Vienna as a hotspot for RNA research in Europe and beyond.”
